Facts

The crew of the Stirling EH938-AA-F of 75 New Zealand Squadron had a successful bomb run behind the back and flew home, when an explosion the whole plane tremble. Sgt R.V.C. Johnson, the Bombardier who flew his sixth mission, jumped with his parachute : "I saw the aircraft in fire. The flight engineer tried to go out and the radio operator was on his table.
