In May 2015, four commemorative plaques were placed in Bouillon for the crews of four Fairey Battles who were lying on the territory of the municipality. One of these commemorative plaques commemorates the crew of L5514. It stands at the ‘Le Tombeau du Géant’ viewpoint in the hamlet of Botassart.
To visit the place, coming from the E411 to Luxembourg, take the N89 toward Bouillon. When approaching Bouillon, follow the signs to the right toward Sensenruth, Ucimont, Botassart and the brown tourist road map ‘Le Tombeau du Géant’.
They will take you past the cemetery of Ucimont where the crew is buried and through the hamlet of Botassart to the viewing point (above a bend of the Semois) which is in itself worth a visit.
This place features the red-blue sign (inspired by a RAF roundel) with the names of the three crew members.
