Facts

Like the Lancaster LM 115, on June 22, 1944 the Lancaster 1ME782 LE-N also collapsed on the De Lage Mierdseweg. The plane was on its way back to England after a raid on Wesseling, when it was attacked by a German hunter.
The aircraft exploded in the air, causing the entire crew to be turned around.
