Facts

Lancaster I NG332 IL-D 115 Sqn Operation: Vohwinkel. Take off 16.10 Witchford to bomb the railway yards.
Believed homebound when caught in a barrage of American AA fire near Namur.
Out off control the Lancaster fell at 20.10 onto farmland at Emines (Namur, Belgium), 11 km SE of Glembloux. Later 21st Army Group signalled that burials thake place at Fosse US Temporary Military Cemetery. Now all are buried in Leopoldsburg War Cemetery
