Facts

Fudal took part in Operation Roadsted. This was the British overall designation of offensive air sweeps by day, using low-level and dive-bombing attacks, against German shipping. His Typhoon IB QO-C (EK370) was hit by German Anti Aircraft while executing his mission along the Zeebrugge, Belgium coastline. The pilot bailed at about 600m, landed in the sea and drowned.
